Gynadome grafted a moment from the history of American lesbian culture onto futurist genres. The website presents a post-apocalyptic Earth, now a digital dumping ground, occupied by the only remaining humans — a band of female techno-resisters with super-natural powers. It seemed only fitting that lesbian separatists would be the prime candidates for an imagined Neo-Luddite movement. The site includes videos, backstories, and specs on the Gyna-Girls.
